In a way I feel like she gave me this book for her birthday. She loved purple. I hadn't heard about this book prior to my trip to the bookstore because I saw it on the website. It was described as Beauty & The Beast meets the tension pulsating of Dracula... Or something of the like. I went to the bathroom and thought to myself, look for something purple. I asked the associate where I could find Gothikana, and she pointed it out to me and boom... PURPLE pages. Well, you know what I mean.

While the books are on press, the pre-order links go live and the marketing campaign ramps up with waves of review copy mailings to media and influencers.
